This privacy policy (“Privacy Policy”) describes how Champion Home Builders, Inc. and our affiliated companies (collectively, “Company”, “Champion”, “we”, “our,” or “us”), uses Personal Data (defined below) that we process in connection with your use of (1) this website, any other website we operate that links to this Privacy Policy, and any mobile applications we operate that link to this Privacy Policy (collectively, our “Sites”), and (2) all other products or services we offer (collectively, our “Services”).
This Privacy Policy generally applies to all users of our Sites and/or Services. In addition, if you are a resident of California, Colorado, Connecticut, Nevada, Utah, or Virginia, there are additional sections of this Privacy Policy that apply to you.
Please read this Privacy Policy carefully to better understand how we collect, use, and disclose Personal Data about you as you use our Sites and/or Services. Any changes to this Privacy Policy will appear on this page, so we encourage you to review it periodically.
INFORMATION WE COLLECT
The information we collect from you varies, depending on the way you use our Sites and/or Services. We collect information from or about you in the ways described below.
Personal Data We Collect
For purposes of this Privacy Policy, “Personal Data” means information relating to an identified or identifiable natural person. The categories of Personal Data we collect may include:
- Identification information, such as name and address
- Contact information, such as email address, fax number, and phone number
- Location data
- Commercial information and preferences, such as size and location of desired home, or the serial number for your home
- Financing and payment information, such as Social Security Number, tax ID information, driver’s license information, income information, information about co-signers, payment terms, and flooring source
Additionally, certain information is collected automatically when you visit our Sites by means of various software tools. We have a legitimate interest in using such information to assist in log-in, systems administration purposes, information security and abuse prevention, to track user trends, and to analyze the effectiveness of our Sites and Services.
- Log Files. “Log files” refers to the information that is automatically sent by your web browser or device (or otherwise automatically collected) each time you view or interact with our online Service. The information inside the log files may include IP addresses, type of browser, internet service provider, date/time stamp, referring/exit pages, clicked pages and any other information your browser may send to us.
- Device and Online Usage. We may collect information about your computer, browser, mobile, or other device that you use to access our Service. We may use cookies, pixels, log files, and other techniques to collect such information, including IP address, device identifiers and other unique identifiers, browser type, browser language, operating system name and version, device name and model, version, referring and exit pages, dates and times of Service access, links clicked, pages visited, forms submitted, features used, crash reports, and session identification information.
HOW WE USE COOKIES AND OTHER TRACKING TECHNOLOGIES
Cookies
We use cookies to make interactions with our Sites easy and meaningful. When you visit our Sites, our servers may send a cookie to your computer. We may use cookies that are session-based or persistent. Session cookies exist only during one session. They disappear from your computer when you close your browser software or turn off your computer. Persistent cookies remain on your computer after you close your browser or turn off your computer. We use cookies that enable you to navigate our Sites and use their features, such as accessing secure areas of our Sites. Because required cookies are essential to operate our Sites, there is no option to opt out of these cookies. We use cookies to provide features and services such as:
- Remembering your preferences and allowing you to enter your user name less frequently;
- Presenting information that’s targeted to your interests, which may include our content presented on another website;
- Measuring the effectiveness of our Sites, Services, content, and advertising; and
- Providing other services and features that are only available through the use of cookies.
The Options/Settings section of most internet browsers will tell you how to manage cookies and other technologies that may be transferred to your device, including how to disable such technologies. Web Beacons and Similar Tracking Technologies
When you visit our Sites, we may collect your IP address for certain purposes such as monitoring the regions from which you navigate our Sites. We may also use web beacons alone or in conjunction with cookies to compile information about your usage of our Sites and interaction with emails from us. Web beacons are clear electronic images that can recognize certain types of information on your computer, such as cookies, when you viewed a particular site tied to the web beacon. We may use web beacons to operate and improve our Sites.
HOW WE USE YOUR PERSONAL DATA
We use the information you submit or we collect about you for a variety of purposes relating to our business. More specifically, we may use your information to:
- Provide, support, analyze, administer, develop, improve, and personalize the Sites and/or Services;
- Provide you with the Service and any product or order fulfillment, or facilitate our partners to provide you with the Service or any product or order fulfilment;
- Process warranty claims;
- Facilitate financing and/or insurance;
- Act in accordance with your direction. For example, if you direct us to share your information with our retailers or other third parties, we will do so in order to facilitate that interaction;
- Fulfill or meet the purpose for which you provided the information. For example:
- If you provide your name and Social Security Number to receive a reimbursement for out-of-pocket warranty work, we will use that information to provide you the reimbursement;
- If you request a quote via our online quote request form, we will use the information you submit to process the quote;
- Communicate with you about our Sites and/or Services, including to respond to your customer service requests, to investigate and address your concerns, to respond to any other inquiry or correspondence you send to us, and to monitor and improve our responses;
- Contact you and inform you about Sites, Services, promotions, programs, offerings, special offers, and/or events that may interest you;
- Send you information, including warranty information;
- Send you updates and promotional/marketing materials, including via our blog subscription, newsletters, and online advertising;
- Personalize your Site experience and to deliver content and Services offerings relevant to your interests, including targeted offers and ads through our Sites, third-party sites, and via email or text message (with your consent, where required by law);
- Store and share user-generated content on social media platforms;
- Enter into or perform a contract or business relationship with you;
- Protect our rights or our property and to ensure the technical functionality, safety, security, and integrity of the Sites, App, or Services databases, and other assets and business;
- Conduct research, analysis, and business development, including to develop and improve our Sites and/or Services;
- Comply with applicable laws and regulations (including recordkeeping and tax obligations), assist and respond to law enforcement requests, and respond to regulatory or other legal inquiries, including court orders;
- Evaluate or conduct a merger, divestiture, restructuring, reorganization, dissolution, or other sale or transfer of some or all of Champion assets, whether as a going concern or as part of bankruptcy, liquidation, or similar proceeding, in which Personal Data held by Champion about our consumers is among the assets transferred; or
- Fulfill any other purpose for which you provide it or consent.
HOW WE DISCLOSE PERSONAL DATA
We may disclose information you submit or we collect about you in the following situations:
- With Our Third-Party Service Providers. We share or transfer Personal Data and other information about you to our service providers to perform tasks on our behalf and to assist us in providing our Sites and/or Services. For example, we may share your Personal Data with service providers who assist us in performing core functions (such as hosting, data storage, and security) related to our operation of the Sites and/or Services and/or by making certain interactive tools available to you as a user. We also use third parties for technical and customer support, application development, tracking and reporting functions, quality assurance, and other services. We may share Personal Data from or about you with these third parties so that we can deliver the highest quality user experience.
- With Affiliates and Subsidiaries. We may disclose Personal Data to our Champion affiliates and subsidiaries.
- With Advertising Partners. We engage advertising services to assist us in advertising our brand, and our Sites and/or Services. Those services may target advertisements on third-party websites based on cookies or other information indicating previous interaction with our Sites and/or Services.
- With Business Partners, Including Retailers and Other Third Parties. When you direct us to, we may share your information with our retailers (including Champion-owned retailers, as well as independent retailers) or other third parties in order to facilitate your requested interaction. For example, we will disclose information to lenders if financing is needed; we will disclose information about your requests to retailers who can service those requests; and we will disclose information with the factory to process an order and warranty. From time to time, we may partner with other companies to jointly offer Services. If you purchase or specifically express interest in a jointly offered Service from us, we may share Personal Data collected in connection with your purchase or expression of interest with our joint promotion partner(s). We do not control our business partners’ use of Personal Data we collect, and their use of the information will be in accordance with their own privacy policies.
- With Analytics Providers. We may use certain third-party analytics services to improve the functionality, features, or delivery of our Sites and/or Services. We may also use these analytics services to record mouse clicks, mouse movements, scrolling activity, as well as any text that you type into our Sites. For example, we use Google Analytics on our Sites to track user trends and usage. By using a browser plugin provided by Google, you can opt out of Google Analytics. - In the Event of Merger, Sale, or Change of Control. We may transfer or assign this Privacy Policy and any Personal Data to a third-party entity that acquires or is merged with us as part of a merger, acquisition, sale, or other change of control (such as the result of a bankruptcy proceeding).
- Other Disclosures. We may disclose Personal Data about you if we have a good faith belief that disclosure of such information is helpful or reasonably necessary to: (i) comply with any applicable law, regulation, legal process or governmental request; (ii) enforce our Terms of Use including investigations of potential violations thereof; (iii) detect, prevent, or otherwise address fraud or security issues; or (iv) protect against harm to the rights, property or safety of Champion, our users, or the public. We may also disclose Personal Data or other information pursuant to your consent or direction.
AGGREGATED OR DE-IDENTIFIED INFORMATION
To better serve our users, business partners, and to improve our Sites and/or Services, we may conduct research on user demographics, interests and behavior or engage in other activities based on Personal Data and/or information that we aggregate or de-identify. Aggregated or de-identified information is not considered Personal Data and does not identify a user personally. We may share this aggregated or de-identified information with our affiliates, agents, business partners, and/or other third parties.
DATA SECURITY
We take the protection of your information seriously and take reasonable and appropriate physical, administrative, and technical measures to protect the information collected through our Sites and/or Services. While we implement commercially reasonable security measures to protect your privacy, please keep in mind that the Internet is not a 100% secure medium for communication, and we cannot guarantee that the information collected about you will always remain private when using our Sites and/or Services. As a result, while we strive to protect your Personal Data, we cannot guarantee the security of any information you transmit to us, and you do so at your own risk.
DO NOT TRACK SIGNALS
We do not currently respond or take any action with respect to web browser “do not track” signals or other mechanisms that provide consumers the ability to exercise choice regarding the collection of Personal Data about an individual consumer’s online activities over time and across third-party websites or online services.
LINKS TO OTHER SITES
Our Sites and/or Services may include links to other third-party websites as a convenience to you. If you click on one of those links you will be taken to websites we do not control, and this Privacy Policy does not apply to those third-party websites. The inclusion of any link does not imply our endorsement of any other company, its site(s), or its product(s) and/or service(s). Champion is not responsible for the privacy practices or content of any other site.
SOCIAL MEDIA AND PLUG-INS
Our online services may use social media plug-ins (e.g., the Facebook “Like” button, the “Share to Twitter” button) to enable you to easily interact with certain social media websites (e.g., Facebook, Twitter, Instagram) and share information with others. When you visit our online services, the operators of the available social media plugins can place a cookie on your device enabling such operators to recognize individuals who have previously visited our online services. If you are logged into these social media websites while visiting our online services, the social media plugins allow the relevant social media websites to receive information that you have visited our online services or other information. The social media plugins also allow the applicable social media websites to share information about your activities on our online services with other users of the social media website. For example, Facebook Social Plugins allow Facebook to show your “Likes” and comments on our online services to your Facebook friends. Facebook Social Plugins also allow you to see your friends’ Facebook activity on our online services. We do not control any of the content from the social media plugins. We may also interact with you on social media platforms. If you contact us on one of our social media platforms, request services, or otherwise communicate directly with us on social media, we may contact you to interact with you. CHILDREN’S INFORMATION
Our Sites and Services are intended for adult use only. We do not direct any part of our Sites to children less than 18 years old and children are not eligible to use our Services. We do not knowingly collect Personal Data from children. By using our Sites and/or Services, you represent and warrant to Champion that you are at least 18 years of age.
CHANGES TO THIS PRIVACY POLICY
As our organization changes over time, this Privacy Policy may change as well. We reserve the right to amend the Privacy Policy at any time, and we will post the amended Privacy Policy on our Service.

We provide this Notice at Collection and Personal Information Rights for California Residents (the “CCPA Privacy Notice”) to supplement the information contained in the general Champion Homes Privacy Policy. This CCPA Privacy Notice describes the Personal Information we may have collected directly from you or indirectly about you if you use our Sites and/or Services or otherwise interact with Champion, and how we have used and/or disclosed your Personal Information, as required by the California Consumer Privacy Act of 2018, as amended by the California Privacy Rights Act of 2020, (collectively the “CCPA”), including the Personal Information collected about Consumers in the preceding 12 months and Personal Information that will be collected about Consumers.
The CCPA Privacy Notice applies only to individuals residing in the State of California who are considered “Consumers” under the CCPA and from whom we collect “Personal Information” as described in the CCPA (“Consumers”), which include our “business-to-business” contacts who are California residents. We may collect Personal Information from you in a variety of different situations, including, but not limited to on our Sites, your mobile device, through email, in physical locations, through the mail, and/or over the telephone. More specifically, Champion collects the following categories of Personal Information from Consumers, which will depend on the particular Business Purpose for which we collect it.
- Identifiers: A real name, alias, postal address, unique personal identifier, online identifier, Internet Protocol address, email address, account name, Social Security number, ID information.
- Personal Information categories listed in the California Customer Records statute (Cal. Civ. Code § 1798.80(e)): A name, signature, Social Security number, address, telephone number.
- Commercial information: Records of Champion homes purchased from retailers, size and location of desired home, serial number for home.
- Internet or other similar network activity: Browsing history (with respect to Champion’s Sites), search history (with respect to Champion’s Sites), information on a Consumer’s interaction with Champion’s Sites or advertisements.
- Geolocation data: Physical location, such as zip code and address.
- Sensory data: Audio.
- Professional or employment-related information: Account contacts, company names.
- Sensitive Personal Information: We may also collect information that may be considered to be Sensitive Personal Information, including:(1) Social Security numbers and tax IDs (for example, when financing is requested or when you receive a payment or reimbursement from us); (2) Driver’s license information (for example, when you purchase Services from us or when financing is requested); (3) Precise geolocation information, to be able to tailor our Sites and Services to you; and (4) certain credit check information when financing is requested. We collect this Sensitive Personal Information for the business purposes listed below. We do not Sell or Share this Sensitive Personal Information, as those terms are defined by the CCPA, and we do not use or disclose Sensitive Personal Information for purposes other than those permitted under the CCPA.

Champion obtains the categories of Personal Information listed above from the following categories of sources:
- Directly from you. We collect Personal Information that you provide to us online, over the phone, and in stores. For example, we collect Personal Information from forms you complete or Services you purchase.
- Indirectly from you. For example, from observing your actions on our Sites or from information your computer or mobile device transmits when interacting with our Sites, among other things.
- From Third Parties. For example, our independent retailers through whom we sell our homes share your information with us for warranty and other product and service purposes. We also receive information about prospective customers from marketing partners.
- From Our Service Providers or Vendors. We may receive information about you from our service providers or vendors, for example, when we perform credit checks.
Purposes for Collecting Personal Information
We may collect Personal Information for the business or commercial purposes listed under HOW WE USE YOUR PERSONAL DATA in the general Privacy Policy.
Personal Information Disclosed for Business Purposes
Categories of Entities to Whom Champion Discloses Personal Information for a Business Purpose. Champion may disclose your Personal Information for a business purpose, including to our service providers, affiliates, and third parties with whom you direct us to disclose your Personal Information. Categories of Personal Information Disclosed for a Business Purpose. Champion has disclosed the following categories of Personal Information for a business purpose:

“Selling” and “Sharing” Personal Information
As defined by the CCPA, we may Sell and Share certain online identifiers for the purposes of online advertising and analytics. Specifically, we disclose online identifiers to advertising partners and analytics providers for online analytics and advertising personalization. Champion does not have actual knowledge that it Sells or Shares Personal Information about consumers under 16 years of age.

Retention Policy
Unless otherwise required by law, it is our policy to not retain Personal Information, including Sensitive Personal Information, for longer than is reasonably necessary to achieve the purpose for which it was collected. The criteria we use to determine specific retention periods include: the type of data; whether you have provided your consent and have not withdrawn it; whether there are other legal grounds for the continued processing; whether you have objected to the processing and there are no overriding legitimate grounds for the processing; and whether retention or deletion is necessary to comply with legal obligations.
Your CCPA Consumer Rights
The CCPA provides Consumers with specific rights regarding their Personal Information. This section describes your CCPA rights and explains how to exercise those rights.

- The right not to receive discriminatory treatmentby the business for the exercise of privacy rights conferred by the CCPA, including an employee’s, applicant’s, or independent contractor’s right not to be retaliated against for the exercise of their CCPA rights.

Only you, or a person registered with the California Secretary of State that you authorize to act on your behalf, may make a verifiable consumer request related to your Personal Information. The verifiable consumer request must:
- Provide sufficient information that allows us to reasonably verify you are the person about whom we collected Personal Information or an authorized representative.
- Describe your request with sufficient detail that allows us to properly understand, evaluate, and respond to it.
We cannot respond to your request or provide you with Personal Information if we cannot verify your identity or authority to make the request and confirm the Personal Information relates to you.
Making a verifiable consumer request does not require you to create an account with us. We will only use Personal Information provided in a verifiable consumer request to verify the requestor’s identity or authority to make the request.
CCPA Response Timing and Format
We endeavor to respond to a verifiable consumer request within forty-five (45) days of its receipt. If we require more time (up to 90 days), we will inform you of the reason and extension period in writing.
If you have an account with us, we will deliver our written response to that account. If you do not have an account with us, we will deliver our written response by mail or electronically, at your option.
The response we provide will also explain the reasons we cannot comply with a request, if applicable.
If we determine that the request warrants a fee, we will tell you why we made that decision and provide you with a cost estimate before completing your request.
Other California Privacy Rights
California’s “Shine the Light” law (Civil Code Section § 1798.83) permits users of our website that are California residents to request certain information regarding our disclosure of Personal Information to third parties for their direct marketing purposes. Changes to Our CCPA Privacy Notice
Champion Homes reserves the right to amend this privacy notice at our discretion and at any time. When we make changes to this privacy notice, we will post the updated notice on the App and Website and update the notice’s Effective Date above. Your continued use of our Sites or interaction with us through other methods following the posting of changes and/or our directing you to the updated CCPA Privacy Notice constitutes your acceptance of such changes.

As defined under Nevada law, we do not engage in any Sales of Covered Information. However, Nevada Consumers may submit a verified request at any time directing that we not make any Sale of any Covered Information that we have collected or will collect about the Consumer, as defined under the Nevada law.
